People of Asad Khel village in NWA suffers as curfew continues on 5th day

MIRANSHAH: The efforts and negotiations of Jirga with the concerned officials have so far not borne fruit as the curfew in Asad Khel village of Razmak Subdivision in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) continued on fifth executive day.
Reports received that residents of the area were facing severe difficulties due to the curfew clamped four days back as they were forced to evacuate their houses and live in a seasonal stream.
According to reports, most of the victims of the curfew were children and women who were compelled to live in open sky as they had no tents.
Patients were also not allowed to leave makeshift camp while negotiations to lift up the curfew have also failed, the reports added.
Member of National Assembly (MNA) hailing from Asad Khel village and Utmanzai tribe’s elders were in contact with the local political administration and security forces but have so far not turned to be fruitful.
