Dengue claims two more lives, taking death toll to 37 in KP: Official

PESHAWAR: At least two more patients admitted at Khyber Teaching Hospital due to dengue fever Wednesday died of the epidemic taking the death toll to 37.
Spokesman for the Dengue Response Unit said, the died were identified as Mehmoob Jan s/o Muhammad Zaman aged 79, resident of Lalazar Colony University Campus Peshawar and Muhammad Hussain aged
80. Both the patients admitted at KTH on September 20 and 26 respectively.
Around 1602 dengue tests were conducted till to the date, out of which 266 were found affected of the disease.
A total of 117 persons were admitted at various hospitals for treatment during the last 24 hours raising the total number of dengue affected patients and getting treatment at various hospitals to 330.
In the meanwhile, some 108 patients were discharged from different hospitals after improvement in there conditions.
