SWABI: The door to door anti-polio vaccination was carried out in Malik Abad, border area of Malakand and Swabi, after eight years on Friday.
Door to door anti-polio vaccination campaign was carried out in the area after eight years. The campaign was supervised by deputy commissioner and DPO Swabi.
At least 1300 children were vaccinated during the door to door campaign. About 200 police personnel were deployed for the security of the volunteers.
According to reports, the last door to door anti-polio campaign was carried out in 2013 with the support of the army. In 2015, the campaign was restricted only the Hujras.
