ECP asks MPs to submit statements of assets, liabilities by 31 Dec

Govt, opposition committee fails to select chief election commissioner

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has asked parliamentarians to submit their yearly statements of assets and liabilities including their spouses and dependent children by the end of this month.
The ECP has drawn attention of the members of the Senate, National Assembly and provincial assemblies to submit details of as on the preceding 30th June on Form B with the commission.
This is a mandatory requirement under Section 137 of the Elections Act, 2017.
