ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday constituted teams to monitor political parties’ campaign for coming general elections.
According to ECP, the teams have been empowered to take action in case of any violation of its code of conduct for the polls.
The process of printing ballot papers for the polls began on Sunday as per the schedule.
More than 210 million ballot papers will be printed for the polls at a cost of Rs two billion. All arrangements have been finalized in this regard, according to the sources.
The printing work will be completed under the supervision of the army in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The final lists of candidates have been displayed outside the offices of the returning officers and district returning officers across the country.
