ECP to grill ROs over alleged rigging in KP LB-polls

PESHAWAR: The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to grill Returning Officers over alleged rigging in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s local government election.
According to reports, ECP has decided to interrogate the ROs after obtaining evidence of rigging from at least three districts of the province that include Nowshera, Karak and Charsadda.
Reports said that the ECP would carry out an investigation against the ROs as it had received some substantial evidence from several districts.
The Pakistan People’s Party, the Awami National Party and the Jamaiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl have been demanding of the government to resign over the rigging.
