Ehtisab Commission decides to launch inquiry against Haider Hoti


PESHAWAR: The Ehtisab Commission of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to launch an inquiry against former chief minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti for giving funds, issued for mosques and seminaries, to his blue-eyed people.
According to sources, the Commission has started gathering details of the funds distributed by the then chief minister Haider Hoti among his blue-eyed people.
The Commission is also seeking information on embezzlement in the funds and its procedure adopted by the ex-chief minister.
The sources added that the Commission has also decided to grill former bureaucrats in this connection.
It is worth noting that funds of billions of rupees were issued for mosques and seminaries during the ANP government in the province with Amir Haider Khan Hoti as the chief minister.
Amir Haider Khan Hoti is accused of distributing the funds issued for mosques and seminaries among the people of his choice.
