Eighteen injured as two vehicles collided in Bajaur

KHAAR: Eighteen people were injured in a collision between two passenger vehicles carrying wedding guests in Mamond area of Bajaur District on Sunday morning.
The injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Khaar.
Local sources said two vehicles were carrying wedding guests in Sewa area of Mamond tehsil in the morning when they collided due to over speeding. Eighteen wedding guests were injured in the accident who were taken to hospital for treatment.
The district administration has filed a report of the incident. The administration said the incident happened due to negligence of drivers and over speeding. Most of traffic accidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal districts happen due to reckless driving.
Meanwhile, three persons were critically injured when a Datsun pick up dashed into a telephone exchange in Sufaid Sang area of Peshawar.
The injured persons were immediately shifted to hospital.
In another road accident fourteen passengers including three women sustained injuries when a Lahore bound bus overturned near Iqbal Nagar on national high way in Sahiwal today.
