ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has alleged that the elections had been rigged and decided to summon an All Parties Conference (APC) soon over the issue.
The MMA chief said that they did not accept elections that were rigged and added, “There seems to be a clear trend of interference in the polling process”.
He also rejected results of the elections and said that they have contacted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif in this connection.
It is worth noting that PML-N have also rejected results of the elections while Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) have raised objections over the credibility of vote counting process.
