Federal cabinet forms task force to recover illegally gotten wealth stashed abroad

ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinet on Wednesday approved establishment of a task force to bring back money taken abroad illegally whereas, a unit has been established at the PM House to overlook the process of bringing back money from abroad.
Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the federal cabinet at the PM House. The cabinet reviewed an eight-point agenda and important decisions were taken during the meeting.
Following the meeting, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry held a press conference detailing the 8-point agenda.
The minister said that the federal cabinet established a task force to bring back money taken abroad illegally. A unit has been established at the PM House to overlook the process of bringing back money from abroad.
Fawad Chaudhry said that establishment of a task force to improve education system under the chairmanship of Minister of Federal Education and Heritage Shafqat Mehemood. Private school fee will be reduced and basic education will be provided in madrassahs as well. Provinces will be a part of the curriculum making process, he added.
Approval was given for measures to be taken to safeguard the rights of children and ensure that there is no child labour or incidents of abuse of children

The federal cabinet in its second meeting on August 24, revised working hours in government institutions, abolished discretionary funds of the prime minister, federal ministers and members of the provincial assembly and imposed a ban on first-class air travel by the president, head of the government, chief justice, Senate chairman and NA speaker.
