ISLAMABAD: The federal government has removed Inspector General (IG) of Police Gilgit-Baltistan, Muhammad Saeed, from his post and appointed Dar Ali Khattak as the new IGP.
A formal notification to remove IG Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Saeed from his position has also been issued by the Establishment Division. The IG Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Saeed has been directed to report to the Establishment Division. The notification states that a grade 20 police officer from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dar Ali Khattak. has been appointed as the new IG Gilgit-Baltistan.
