Few dozen PPP workers’ attack on police quite ‘sad’: Fawad

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry Wednesday said that a few dozen Pakistan Peoples Party members’ attack police was not different than banned outfits work.
In a video message the information minister said that PPP’s workers’ attack on police was quite ‘sad’.
The minister said: “How come asking your workers to carry out attacks during investigation process any different than how banned organisations work.”
The minister also ‘hoped’ that the PPP leadership would apologise over the way the party workers behaved, adding that it was contradictory to the Constitution’s fundamental concepts.
Earlier in a tweet, the minister called Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari’s appearance before NAB as “Corruption Olympics episode two”.
“The entire party arrived [here] in a total of five horse carriages to welcome [their leaders],” the info minister tweeted.
