LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested former principal secretary to Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Khan Bhatti, in connection with a money laundering case.
After the anti-corruption court accepted Bhatti’s bail, the FIA arrested the former principal secretary to Pervaiz Elahi. Rana Intezar, the lawyer, said that the court handed over Muhammad Khan Bhatti to the FIA on a three-day remand and ordered to present him the court again on March 25.
It should be noted that a video of Muhammad Khan Bhatti surfaced yesterday in which he was accusing some important court figures of supporting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
