FIA begins probe against Amir Muaqm over hike in cost of 35km road

PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started investigation against PML-N leader Amir Muqam over alleged corruption in construction of 35km road.
According to reports, work on the 35 Km Alpuri-Shangla road began in 2009 with an estimated cost of Rs 850 million. However, the total cost of the road was increased to Rs 2800 million.
According to reports, the FIA has started investigation against Amir Maqam, who could be summoned any time. The FIA is also investigating that why the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was asked to leave the project.
