KARAK: Five people of the same family were killed when their car collided head on with a passenger coach on Indus Highway near Hamidan Chowk in Karak on Monday morning.
According to the police, the accident occurred as a coaster and car collided. People riding in the car died on the spot, while those in the coasters got minor injuries.
The deceased belonged to the same family and were residents of North Waziristan. They were en route to Peshawar from Bannu, while the coaster was going towards Lakki Marwat from Peshawar.
Police said accident was a cause of speeding on the highway.
