Five proclaimed offenders among 20 arrested in Charsadda raids

CHARSADDA: Charsadda police during anti terror raids arrested at least 20 suspects including five proclaimed offenders in Charsadda, says senior police officer on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference, SHO city Imran Khan said that police conducted search and strike operation last night at various areas of city and taken at least 20 suspects into custody. The arrested men include five proclaimed offenders and 15 suspects that includes Afghan nationals. One of the arrested Afghan national was involved in making fake cards
The SHO also claimed to have recovered arms and ammunitions from their possession. The seized items include a Kalashnikov, pistols, and drugs.
Meanwhile, police also registered cases against two private schools in the city for inadequate security.
Directing schools administration, Imran Khan said that those schools found violating standard operating procedures (SoP) will be closed down.
