FM Qureshi meets Pompeo, discusses Pak-US bilateral ties

WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with his US counterpart Mike Pompeo in Washington on Tuesday.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to Pak-US bilateral relations, overall situation of South Asia including Afghanistan came under discussion.
Qureshi held meeting with US Secretary of State at his invitation extended during his recent visit to Pakistan.
Earlier, the foreign minister also held a meeting with US National Security Adviser John Bolton in Washington.
Pak-US relations and overall situation of South Asia were discussion in the meeting.
Foreign Minister will also speak at the United States Institute of Peace on the subject of Pakistan’s New Government Change or Continuity in Foreign Policy tomorrow.
He is also scheduled to hold meetings with members of US Congress.
