Four civilians killed in Indian troops shelling along LoC

Pakistani citizen martyred in unprovoked Indian firing along LoC: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Four Pakistani civilians were killed and 10 others were wounded due to unprovoked Indian shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday.
In a statement, ISPR said that Indian border forces targeted civilian population near Jandrot Sector, Karela Sector and Baroh Sector, resulting in martyrdom of four people, including a woman.
The victims were identified as Iltaf s/o Lal Muhammad, Nazia Kausar w/o M. Rasheed, Attique s/o Manzoor and Tassawar s/o Shabbir.
It said there are reports of heavy casualties of Indian soldiers due to effective retaliatory fire by Pakistani troops.
Six Indian soldiers have been confirmed killed till now, it added.
