Four policemen killed in Quetta attack

QUETTA: At least four policemen were killed in an attack on police van here on Saturday.
According to reports, some unknown four armed motorcyclists opened indiscriminate firing at police van in Pashtunabad area of the provincial capital.  Four policemen including sub-inspector Ali Mohammad, driver and two constables sustained serious injuries in the firing while the attackers escaped. The injured policemen succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital. The security forces rushed to the attack site. 
 Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attack and expressed condolences with the bereaved families.
In a message, he said that such incidents could not weaken government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and extremism from the country.
He directed the concerned authorities to apprehend the culprits at the earliest and bring them to the book.
