QUETTA: The funeral prayer of those martyred in the attack on Police Training Center was offered in Quetta police line.
The funeral prayer was attended among others by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar, Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, IG FC Major General Sheir Afghan, Commander Southern Command and other top civilian and military officials.
Prayers for eternal peace of the departed soul was offered after the funeral. The bodies of the martyred would be sent to their ancestral areas for burial.
It is to be mentioned here that three suicide bombers entered the training center at around 9:46 pm last night and two of them blew themselves up when the security personnel surrounded them. The third terrorist was gunned down by the security personnel.
As many as 61 police cadets were martyred and 124 injured in the attack.
