ISLAMABAD: The Government has earmarked Rs 18.936 billion for various ongoing and new schemes of Finance Division under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2017-18.
According to a budgetary document released here Friday, among the ongoing projects, the government has allocated Rs 202.1 million for automation project of Central Directorate of National Savings, Phase-II.
An amount of Rs 500 million has been awarded to Cadet College Kharan, whereas Rs 312 million has been earmarked for construction of Fish Landing Jetty and Allied Harbor Facilities at Pishukan Gawadar.
Similarly, the government has allocated Rs 100 million for the construction of Sibbi Rakhni Road via Maiwand Section KM 24-164, whereas, Rs 400 million have been allocated for construction and upgradation of Dirgi Shabozai (N-70) to Taunsa (N-55) Road, Balochistan.
Furthermore, an amount of Rs 1500 million has been granted to Greater Karachi Sewerage Plant (S-III) and Rs 700 million for Necessary facilities of fresh water treatment, water supply and
distribution Gawadar (CPEC).
An amount of Rs 500 million each has been awarded to Gawadar Development Authority and Gawadar Safe City Project Phase-I, whereas Rs 400 million have been earmarked for Khyber Institute of Child Health and Children Hospital (District Peshawar).
For the project of Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme (K-IV), an amount of Rs 9,555 million has been earmarked while for Urban Water Supply Scheme Benazirabad, Rs 392 million have been allocated.
Among new schemes, an amount of Rs 173 has been fixed for assessing and strengthening the competition regime in Pakistan while Rs 100 million have been allocated for construction of federal audit complex Mauve Area, sector G-8/1, Islamabad.
Similarly, an amount of Rs 500 million has been earmarked for Gawadar Development Authority Package whereas Rs 150 million for energization and functionality of construction/extension of Audit House, Islamabad.
For the project of improvement and widening of road from N-50 in Zer Khaki to Sherani HQ 67 KM, an amount of Rs 200 million has been fixed while for Public Sector Enterprises Reforms (PSER)
Project, an amount of Rs 277.53 million has been allocated.
