ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has said that the government has mishandled the Kulbhushan Jadhav case at International Court of Justice.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Senator Sherry Rehman said that Pakistan legal team was not prepared for the case as the team only used 50 minutes out of 90 minutes time for arguments. Nadeem Afzal Chan and Saleem Mandivala were also present on this occasion.
She regretted that the foreign office never gave briefing on this issue, adding that why did prime minister not raise Kulbhushan issue at international forums. She said that Kulbhushan was involved in terror activities in Pakistan, adding that Indian agent had two passports.
She said that the government did not consult the parliament, adding that Pakistan should have told the ICJ “we are not accepting your jurisdiction’ in this case. He said that India had ad hoc judge ICJ, while Pakistan did not nominate any ad hoc judge.
