LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf members of Assembly and Party chief has decided to approach the court against ban to run electoral campaign, while Chaudhary Mohammed Sarwar said that government has started rigging before elections, while PTI candidates nomination papers were not submitted for Local Bodies Elections.
Talking to media in Lahore, Chaudhary Mohammed Sarwar said that Election Commission decision regarding electoral campaign was unfair. He said that ban to run campaign on Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and other government officials is the right move, but party leadership and Assembly members participation in electoral campaign should not be a problem. He announced to file petition in court and Election Commission against decision to ban on Imran Khan to run electoral campaign. He said that government has started rigging before Local Bodies elections, adding that returning officers did not submit PTI candidate nomination papers, despite the amount submitted, hence, he vowed to participate in elections with full strength.
