Govt to spend over Rs30b on higher education this year: Asad Umar

All educational institutions in Pakistan to remain closed till May 31

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said the government is targeting to spend more than thirty billion rupees on higher education this year.
In a tweet today, he said the PTI government in its first year in office spent 18.8 billion rupees on higher education development projects.
This was 14.6 percent higher than the last year of PML (N) government which spent 16.4 billion rupees.
