KOHAT: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Monday said that government is struggling to spread a network of colleges and universities in FATA to offer sufficient opportunities to youth seeking higher education.
He said this addressing as a chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of FATA University at Darra Adam Khel in FR Kohat on Monday.
Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch parliamentarians from FATA and a large number of students and elders of the area were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Tahir Shah apprised the Governor about some difficulties being faced by the institution.
The Governor assured necessary steps for solving the problems on priority basis.
