GILGIT: Newly elected Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman took oath of his office at a ceremony in Gilgit on Friday evening.
Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Ch. Barjees Tahir administered the oath.
Earlier, he was elected unopposed as new Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to sources, the cabinet of Gilgit-Baltistan will be announced later.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has felicitated Haji Fida Muhammad Nashad and Jaffarullah Khan on their unopposed election as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Gilgit-Baltistan
