Hamza Shehbaz’s physical remand extended by 14 days in assets case

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Monday granted a 14-day extension to opposition leader in Punjab Assembly and PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz for his stay in London.
Hamza Shahbaz had taken permission for visit to London. He was due to return to Pakistan tomorrow. However, he sought an extension in his stay so he could stay with his new-born daughter, who has been diagnosed with a serious cardiac issue and must undergo surgery.
Hamza is being probed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) into the Ramzan Sugar Mills and holding assets beyond his known sources of income.
