Hearing of graft reference against Dar adjourned until March 12

NAB court adjourns hearing reference against Dar till Feb 6

ISLAMABAD: Two accused in the Ishaq Dar case pertaining to assets beyond his known sources of income have requested the accountability court to delay their indictment scheduled on March 12.
The legal counsel of the two accused argued that many of the pages of the reference provided by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to his clients were unclear.
The lawyer informed that court that 70 out of 700 pages in the reference were in foreign languages.
The defendants prayed to the court that they could not be indicted until the provision of clear documents along with their translations.
The accountability court issued a notice to NAB to submit its response on the plea and will hear the matter on March 12, the next date of hearing.
