Hearing of corruption references against Nawaz adjourned till August 1

Model Town JIT to record Nawaz Sharif’s statement in jail tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court adjourned the hearing of Al-Azizia and Flagship corruption references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif till August 1.
Judge Muhammad Bashir on Monday resumed hearing of the corruption references against the former prime minister.
At the outset of the hearing, the judge asked as to when the Islamabad High Court (IHC) would take up the Sharif family’s pleas against the Avenfield verdict.
The counsel representing Nawaz Sharif informed the judge that their appeals will be heard tomorrow.
Judge Bashir then remarked he would wait for the IHC’s instructions tomorrow and adjourned the hearing.
