LAHORE—A day after the government increased the fuel prices by Rs30 a litre, a petition was filed in the Lahore High Court on Friday against the federal government’s decision, urging the court to declare it void.

The petitioner further said that the action taken by government is illegal while he prayed to the court to nullify the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
