LAHORE: The Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that his arrest is not for appearing in court, but rather to kill him, adding that he has no doubt that he will be tortured after arrest.
During a meeting with senior journalists, the PTI chief said that they would not allow delay in elections under any circumstances, adding that if elections were not held within 90 days, they will start constitutional movement and will not let any violation of the constitution to push elections forward.
He also said, “I believe in the rule of law and will appear in court on March 18th.” He never refused to appear before the court. “They are summoning me to such a place, where there are serious threat,” he said. He added that his party workers are angry and ask why he keeps talking about the implementation of the law repeatedly.
Imran Khan said that if the Supreme Court’s decision is not accepted, it will be a call for a takeover. He revealed that an important person had told him in March 2021 that General Bajwa had decided to remove him and that police and Rangers officials had come to arrest him twice. He said he has no doubt that he will face torture after his arrest. When asked about Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Imran Khan revealed that corona virus affected Chaudhry Pervez Elahi .
