Imran curses parliament for allowing Nawaz to become party president

Imran Khan

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has slammed the ousted premier Nawaz Sharif for criticizing judiciary and said that Sharif family threatened those they could not buy.
Addressing the joint opposition’s protest engineered by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri, Imran termed the Sharif family a mafia.
He also trained his guns at the parliament allowing a “criminal” to become a political party’s president and asked as to which parliament allowed corrupt politician to be party president.
He cursed the parliament while referring to Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) decision to elect the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif as its president.
Imran also held the Sharif brothers responsible for the Model Town incident adding that he could say, without a shred of doubt, that the incident was done on orders received by the police.
The PTI Chief told the protesters that he agreed with Sheikh Rasheed’s advise to present resignations in parliament.
