ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that they (government) were in contact with friendly countries for the resolution of economic issues and hoped that Pakistan might not have to approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for loans.
In a meeting with journalists and delegations of APNS, PBA and CPNE, the prime minister hoped that the government would be able to fix economic issues soon with its policies.
Speaking with representatives of journalists, APNS, PBA and CPNE, Imran Khan said that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) welcomed criticism of media.
Appreciating the role of media in the country, he said that a great part of their success was the result of support from media.
He further vowed to support the media industry and solve issues in this field.
