Imran Khan declares 2017 the year of justice

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan on Sunday declared 2017 as the year of justice.
Talking to media in Karachi, Imran said that the year will start with Panamagate and justice will be served.
When he was asked a question about Javed Hashmi, Imran Khan said he has become a mental patient now.
“Javed Hashmi has gone insane and is lying regarding the sit-in statement”, he added.
Imran further said Javed Hashmi is in that age where he does not even himself know what he is saying.
Talking about Karachi issues, Imran Khan said if the people of Karachi do not pressurize the administration to solve their basic problems, then Karachi will become another Mohenjo-daro.
Imran Khan also announced to arrange a big walk and carry out a protest for the basic rights of the people of Karachi in his next visit.
Earlier, Justice Saqib Nisar had formed a five-member larger bench to hear the Panama Papers case soon after taking oath as the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
The bench, headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, included Justice Ejaz Afzal, Justice Gulzar Ahmad, Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh and Justice Ijazul Ahsan.
The apex court will hear the case on January 4.
