Imran Khan not to attend joint parliamentary session today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will not attend the joint session of Parliament today.
According to PTI Information Secretary Shafqat Mehmood, Imran Khan has decided to boycott the session.
The joint session was summoned ahead of schedule in honour of the Indonesian president.
President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned the parliamentary joint session at Parliament House today at 6pm. The Indonesian president will address Pakistani lawmakers during the session.
Indonesia President Joko Widodo and first lady Iriana Joko Widodo have reached Islamabad for a two-day visit. President Mamnoon Hussain will organize a reception for them while the two are also expected to meet PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. This is Widodo’s first state visit to Pakistan.
