Imran Khan’s govt to be ousted within 4 to 5 months: Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that the Imran Khan’s government would be ousted within four to five months.
Speaking to newsmen at the Parliament House, where he attended the national Assembly standing committee meeting on Monday, said that the government could not be toppled by pushing the button, but through struggle. He said that the opposition was making efforts for ousting the government.
He said that the new chairman of the Senate could be from the PML-N , which is majority party in the upper house of the parliament.
When asked about leaked video of the judge, he said that he did not have any TV, therefore, he could not comment. However, about credibility of the accountability judge, the former president said that he was appearing before the court of the Justice Qayyum despite knowing that what kind of decision he would give.
He said that his interview was stopped as he had talked about Imran Khan’s scandal in London.
Earlier during the meeting, he demanded that the Sindh government was the owner of the Pakistan Steel Mills, not the government of Pakistan. He said that the steel mills’ land belonged to the Sindh government. He said that the Sindh government should run the affairs of the Steel Mills, adding that the mills should be run through private-public partnership.
