ISLAMABAD: The heads of state and governments have started arriving in Islamabad to attend the ECO Summit to be held on Wednesday.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has arrived Islamabad to participate in ECO summit to be held in the federal capital tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Iranian President was warmly greeted at the Nur Khan airbase by Minister of States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch and other senior officials.
As the visiting president alighted from the plane, he was presented with a twenty-one gun salute.
A smartly turned out contingent of armed forces presented guard of honor to the distinguished guest. National anthems of both the countries were also played on the occasion.
Meanwhile, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also arrived in Islamabad. He was warmly greeted at the Nur Khan airbase by Minister of Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain and other senior officials.
