DG ISPR warns of befitting response if India attacks

ISLAMABAD: Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor responded to Indian Chief Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane’s belligerent rhetoric and said that Pakistan Armed Forces are fully prepared to respond to any act of Indian aggression.
In a statement, ISPR stated that statements by the Indian COAS to undertake the military action across the Line of Control (LoC) are routine rhetoric for domestic audiences to get out of the ongoing internal turmoil. “Pakistan Armed Forces are fully prepared to respond to any act of Indian aggression”, ISPR added.
Gen Naravane had earlier said that his force would take steps to take control of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) if the Indian government gave such an order.
