PESHAWAR: Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Takashi Kurai called on the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra here at Governor’s House on Friday.
The distinguished guest remained with the Governor for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest with special reference to the situation in the region.
Talking on the occasion Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that after successful military operation, peace has restored in FATA and developmental works are underway to bring FATA at par with other progressive areas in Pakistan.
Moreover, he said that people of FATA have given infinite sacrifices to restore peace in the country and it is the need of the hour that international community should come forward to help people of FATA. …APP
