PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that a Jirga had been constituted for negotiations with Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM).
Talking to journalists in Governor House here in the metropolis, Jhagra said that the Jirga had been authorized to make decisions in connection with the negotiations.
The Governor added that the Jirga would make decisions in light of the traditions of tribal areas.
He said that the former prime minister had accepted all the legitimate demands of PTM.
He further said that not a single political party was in favor of delay in general elections adding that the elections would be held on time.
