Joint opposition forms 8-member parliamentary committee

ISLAMABAD: The opposition parties have formed a joint parliamentary committee of the opposition for devising a joint strategy for dealing with the government.
The decision to form a committee was taken during last meeting of the opposition parties leaders, which was chaired by Mian Shahbaz Sharif and attended by Asif Ali Zardari and others.
The PML-N would be represented by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Rana Tanveer and Rana Sannaullah, while Raja Pervez Ashraf, Syed Khursheed Shah and Sherry Rehman would represent the PPP. Amir Haider Hoti of the ANP and Maulana Wasay of JUI-F would also be part of the 8-member joint parliamentary committee of the opposition.
The committee would devise joint strategy for dealing with the government on the national issues. The committee would also talk to the government on national issues.
