Junaid was practical example of Hadees regarding manners: Tariq Jameel

KARACHI: Known Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel said religious scholar Junaid Jamshed was a practical example of a Hadees regarding manners.
He quoted Hadees: “Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaih e WaAalihe Wasallam (SAWW) said Abu Huraira make your manners beautiful. Abu Huraira asked Ya Rasoolullah (SAWW), how to make manners beautiful? The Prophet (SAWW) said whoever breaks (ties) with you, make relation with him. Whoever deprives you, (you) provide him. Whoever does injustice to you, forgive him.”
Giving tribute to Junaid Jamshed on his tragic death, he maintained that Junaid was a true picture of this Hadees. He pardoned anybody with open-heart, who did injustice to him, he added.
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane carrying 47 people crashed Wednesday and burst into flames killing everyone on board including Junaid Jamshed.
Once Junaid was a famous pop singer, then he transformed his life to become a practical Muslim and started preaching Islam in his homeland and across the globe.
Maulana Tariq Jameel recalled that he travelled for Hajj with Junaid Jamshed for the last 10 years since 2007.
“Junaid used to take along hundreds of Hujjaj (pilgrims) to Hajj at his own expense and serve them personally for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala (SWT). I am witness to his altruistic works,” he said.
Who knew it was his last Hajj with me, he said in a heartrending voice.
The Islamic scholar then spoke on low importance of materialistic world in comparison with the hereafter and Jannat (heaven), where one has to live forever.
He said whenever he phoned Junaid, he responded with warmth, even if he made call to him 10 times in a day and this behavior was not just with Maulana, but with all the people he met.
