LAHORE: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal has on Tuesday accepted the invitation of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri to join the All Parties Conference (APC).
According to PSP spokesperson, Tahirul Qadri made a telephonic contact with Kamal and congratulated him over the success of his rally that was held on December 24 at Karachi’s Liaquatabad Flyover.
The spokesman further added that PAT chief invited Kamal to join the APC that is scheduled to be held on December 30, and PSP head ensured Qadri of his presence.
Let it be known that PAT has convened an ‘all-parties conference’ on Dec 30 for what it called, “developing collective ownership” of the protest movement that may follow the expiry of deadline it has set for resignations of chief minister, law minister and officials.
The PAT chief said that the Bajir Najifi report released to probe the Model Town incident proves that police officers concealed the facts, and revealed that the incident was orchestrated under patronage of the Punjab government.
