PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday unanimously passed a resolution to condemn the suicide blast in Mastung area of Balochistan, targeting Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri that killed over 25 people and scores of others injured.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session was chaired by Deputy Speaker Mehar Taj Roughani.
Speaking on the floor of the house, Provincial Minister Shah Farman strongly condemned the explosion and termed it as an attack on the entire political leadership of Pakistan. “The blast is an attack on entire political leadership of Pakistan and the KP Assembly condemns it in strong words,” the resolution added.
Taking part in the debate on the Mastung blast, ANP leader Sardar Hussain Babak and Aneesa Zaib Tahirkhili strongly condemned the attack and expressed the resolve that terrorists could not deter the nation from uprooting terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile, the Assembly also the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2017 and KP Vaccination (Amendment) Bill, 2017.
