KP CM defends nomination of new ministers in KP cabinet

CM directs KP education dept to include chapter on Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) in syllabus

PESHAWAR:Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmud Khan has defended nomination of new ministers for his cabinet and said that their names were announced after consultation with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said the new 15 members cabinet was a combination ofyoung and experienced parliamentarians which would deliver to expectations ofmasses.After detailed consultation with Prime Minister Imran Khan,15 names have been announced for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet.
This team is agreat combination of youth and experience and I am sure it deliver the goods aspromised.The new cabinet includes name of Muhammad Atif Khan(Tourism), Shehram Tarakai (Local Govt), Taimoor Salim Jhagra (Finance), SyedIshtiaq (Forest), Shakil Ahmed Khan (Revenue), Mohibullah (Agriculture), HajiQalandar Lodhi (Food), Kamran Bangash (IT), Dr Amjad Ali (Mineral Development),Sultan Muhammad Khan (Law), Shah Muhammad Khan (Transport), Hasham Inamullah(Health), Abdul Karim (Industries) and Akhtar Ayub Khan.
Meanwhle, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmud Khan imposed ban on use of tea during officials meetings and directed authorities to adopt austerity and simplicity.Presiding over a high-level meeting here about Bus Rapid Project (BRT), the Chief Minister directed presentation of water in glass rather than bottle and maintained that no tea would be served on guests during official meetings onward.
He directed officials to show austerity by avoiding such things in meetings. TheCM directed that no water bottle would be presented in any function rather waterfor drinking would be served on guest in glass.According to spokesman of Chief Minister House, orders for reduction of other expenses during officials functions would soon be issued–APP
