SWABI: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan says the government is giving top priority to developing all backward areas of the province.
Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Utla Dam in Swabi on Saturday, he said the dam will be completed at a cost of more than one point five billion rupees in two years.
It will store four hundred and eighty-five acre feet water besides benefitting more than forty-five thousand people of the area.
The Chief Minister also announced establishment of a hospital, a college and two girls higher secondary schools in Gadoon, Swabi.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman were also present on the occasion.
