CHITRAL: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Tourism Muhammad Atif Khan says the government is committed to promote tourism as an industry.
Talking to newsmen in Shandur on Tuesday, he said security situation has greatly improved in the country due to the sacrifices of the security forces and general public. This has helped promote tourism.
Muhammad Atif Khan said the government is working to gradually enhance facilities in Shandur to facilitate tourists.
He said northern areas of Pakistan are rich in natural beauty.
He regretted that previous governments did nothings for development of tourism.
