KP govt to spend over Rs 10b on 71 projects

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would spend over 10 billion rupees on 71 projects including 49 on-going and 22 new schemes for primary and secondary education during the current fiscal year.
Official sources said that over 5 billion rupees would be spent on 67 projects of higher education.
Sources added that a Higher Education Teachers Training Academy would be constructed with an estimated cost of 150 million besides establishment of Women University in Mardan.
Similarly, Colleges for Management Sciences would be established in Swabi, Dir Upper, Charsadda, Buner and Dera Ismail Khan.
