Lack of quorum continues to mar NA proceedings 

Opposition walks out of NA over passing bills through presidential ordinance

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi Monday suspended the National Assembly proceeding due to lack of quorum in just  eight minutes after the start of business at 3 :35 pm. Ghulam Mustafa Shah of PPPP pointed out the quorum as the question-answer session started. The Deputy Speaker asked for the member-count and suspended the proceeding till the quorum was completed,  saying “The House is not in order and the proceeding is suspended till completion of the quorum.”
Earlier, the House offered Fateha for martyrs of a blast in which Bajur’s Political Tehsildar Fawad Ali and his four companions lost their lives, and for late Rana Taj Ahmed Noon, former parliamentarian. Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani led the Fateha.– APP
