ORAKZAI AGENCY: A tribal elder embraced martyrdom and two other people sustained injuries in a landmine blast in Lower Orakzai Agency on Thursday.
Security sources said that the mine was planted on roadside in Tor Simat area of the agency.
The sources added that the deceased and the injured people were travelling to Hangu when they were hit by the mine.
Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and kicked off a search operation.
However, no reports of arrests were received till the compilation of this story.
